Garlic Roasted Mushroom Recipe

Roasted mushrooms are a simple and flavorful dish that can be enjoyed as a side dish or used as a topping for salads, pasta, or sandwiches.

Here's a recipe for roasted mushrooms:

Ingredients:

1 pound mushrooms (such as button or cremini), cleaned and stems trimmed
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves (or 1 teaspoon dried thyme)
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
If the mushrooms are large, you can slice them in half or leave them whole if they are smaller.
In a large bowl, combine the mushrooms, olive oil, minced garlic, fresh thyme leaves, salt, and pepper. Toss well to ensure that the mushrooms are evenly coated.
Arrange the mushrooms in a single layer on a baking sheet or a roasting pan.
Place the baking sheet or roasting pan in the preheated oven and roast for about 15-20 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and golden brown. Stir or shake the pan occasionally during cooking to ensure even browning.
Once the mushrooms are roasted to your desired level of doneness, remove them from the oven.
Optionally, sprinkle the roasted mushrooms with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley for added flavor and garnish. Toss gently to combine.
Transfer the roasted mushrooms to a serving dish and serve immediately. They can be enjoyed hot or at room temperature.

Roasted mushrooms make a delicious addition to various dishes or can be enjoyed on their own. Feel free to experiment with different herbs and seasonings to suit your taste. Enjoy!
